North, South, East or West? New #LumiaTips Vine helps you stay on course

Check out our new Vine video on downloading offline maps with HERE Maps so you’ll always know where you’re going.

Whether you’re traveling abroad or heading o’er the mountain and through the woods, as the song goes, this holiday season, a map is always helpful for the directionally challenged among us.

Print maps can be unwieldy and tend to tear easily. Map apps are handy, but many require an Internet connection via your mobile’s data plan or Wi-Fi.

But HERE Maps lets you download comprehensive maps of countries on six continents–as well as all 50 U.S. states–onto your phone. That way, you’ll always have access to the maps.

I’ve downloaded the California map onto my Lumia and will soon download a map of France and several states that I’m planning to visit in 2015.

Have you used this feature of HERE Maps?
