Why we love it: This endless runner featuring the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog is tons of fun. Not only can you run, dash, and jump your way through the never-ending 3D environment while avoiding obstacles and defeating enemies, but the game also offers daily challenges, cool power-ups, and challenging boss fights. It’s also free, which is the perfect price for such a huge dose of nostalgia.

Why we love it: This holiday season giving gift cards will be a snap. Digital Gift Cards lets you send your friends and family digital versions of gift cards that can used to buy apps, games, music, movies, and TV shows from all of Microsoft’s stores, such as Windows Phone Store and Xbox. The gift cards can be personalized and pre-scheduled for a specific date, and there are no service fees or expiration dates. Unfortunately, Digital Gift Cards is not available in all countries.
