New #Lumiatips Vine: Sledding for Health and Fitness

Check out this cute video and combat the calorie creep of holiday festivities with the help of the MSN Health & Fitness app.

‘Tis the season for holiday parties and all the celebratory wining and dining—as well as the onslaught of holiday home-baked cookies and pies foisted upon us by well-meaning friends and family–can wreak havoc on our waistlines.

But fear not. Download the free SensorCore-enabled MSN Health & Fitness app for Windows Phone 8.1 to get cardio, yoga and strength workouts and to track your diet and physical activity, which could include sledding, like these two intrepid folks did in this new #Lumiatips Vine video.

But we bet it would be easier with a real sled and a few feet of snow!

By the way, this video features the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps Project in San Francisco. Local community members created the beautiful hand-made tiles that grace each of the 163 steps leading up to Grand View Park.

The park is aptly named: Once at the top, you’re rewarded with a sweeping view of the city, the Pacific Ocean, and if you’re very lucky, the Golden Gate Bridge.

Do you use Health & Fitness on your Lumia? How do you use it, and what are your favorite workouts to combat holiday weight gain?
