Fun to play but devilishly difficult to master, Candy Crush Saga is now available free in the Windows Phone Store.

If you’re not familiar with Candy Crush Saga, it’s a game in which you match at least three candies of the same color to remove and “crush” them. The more candies you match, the higher the level you’ll attain.

As you become more skillful and rack up points, you’ll unwrap different environments, meet new characters, get magical boosters and unlock treats.

Be warned that there are literally hundreds of levels, so while Candy Crush Saga sounds like child’s play, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s made grown men cry.

There are at least several Windows Phone-only features for Candy Crush Saga including the ability to pin the game to your Start screen.

While the game is free to play, there are some in-app items such as extra moves or extra lives that require payment. (You can control in-app purchases by enabling Wallet PIN. Wallet PIN can be found in your Windows Phone settings.)
