Fulfilled your 2014 resolutions? You’ve got 13 days left to #MakeItHappen

Thanks to our #MakeItHappen campaign, you still have 13 days to make 2014 a year to remember.

In just 13 days 2014 will come to an end. But, luckily you still have time to make it special. For the 31 days of December, we’re helping 31 people across the globe turn their self-made promises into an awesome reality by sharing these on our #MakeItHappen page. Today, it’s time to showcase the stories of another fab five, who spent just 30 seconds sharing their aspirations with the world.

Meet the second fab five

This week, we’re meeting Antony, Joao, Troy, Sepp and Poiron who’ll get to use brand new Microsoft Lumias to help realize their 2014 resolutions. How they do that is up to them, but taking a video of a helicopter ride, using fitness apps and learning a new language are all wonderful possibilities. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. #MakeItHappen magic in action

We can think of nothing better than showing some love for your parents. To help Antony do just that we’ve given him the chance to share some amazing experiences with his dad. Regardless of whether they’re going to cruise in a helicopter or feast on a 7-course meal, we’re looking forward to see Antony capture his dad’s delight on the Microsoft Lumia 830 we’re sending him.

Loosing weight is easier said that done. So, when Joao shared his resolution with us, we asked an ex-Royal Marine Commando to help. Joao’s new personal trainer will get him ship shape in no time at all, and with his Microsoft Lumia 830, Joao’s got everything he needs to record his progress.

Troy wanted to walk more in 2014 and, with some new training shoes and a Microsoft Lumia 830 in-hand, we’ve given him the tools to make it happen. Add Fitbit to the mix, with its super duper walking calendar and those 8000 steps a day will be done in no time at all.

Every boy loves boats, so when Sepp shared his resolution we were very happy to help. With his Microsoft Lumia 730 and Cortana on hand, Sepp has access to all the information he needs to make it a launch to remember. Ship ahoy!

English is one of the world’s most spoken languages. No surprise, then, that Poiron wants to get in on the action. To help kick off his linguistic journey, we’re sending him to English lessons accompanied by a Microsoft Lumia 830. Packed with language apps such as Duolingo, we have no doubt Poiron will be chatting like a native sooner rather than later.
