Make 2015 your most colourful year ever with this Lumia Challenge
Have you been sticking to your 2015 #MakeItHappen resolution or do you need a morale boost? Microsoft and Fresh Paint are here to encourage you with a bit of colourful competition.
We’ve been asking you to share your 2015 resolutions with us so that we could help you #MakeItHappen, and we’re more than impressed with the thousands of thoughtful and ambitious resolutions that have been pouring in from all over the world. We know that sticking to resolutions can be difficult, so to keep you on your path to a better 2015 we’re adding a twist:
Send us your #MakeItHappen resolution using the Fresh Paint application on either your Lumia or Surface. That’s right, we want you to unleash your inner artist and turn that resolution into a colorful work of art! There just might be a shiny new Lumia 830 and Fresh Paint art class with Phil Galloway in it for you.
If you haven’t given Fresh Paint a go just yet, it’s a fantastic painting app that lets you create stunningly realistic digital oil paintings using your phone or tablet. Many of you might be familiar with Connects superstar and artist Phil Galloway, who has in the past shown us how to #MakeItHappen using Fresh Paint. Because Phil is the undisputed champ of Fresh Paint, he’s agreed to lend a hand by judging the competition. Not much of an artist? That’s okay! All types of entries are welcome, even if your artistic vision is your resolution words painted in crazy colors. Once you’ve gotten those creative juices of yours flowing, all you need to do is submit your 2015 resolution to the official #MakeItHappen page and share it via Twitter. Then comes the fun part: paint your pledge using the Fresh Paint app and Tweet it to us at @Connects using the hashtags #LumiaChallenge and #MakeItHappen. The competition will last for 2 weeks after the publish date of this article, so you’ve got plenty of time to finish your masterpiece. For more information about the rules and conditions, click here.
