Get to the Big Game: Bing Maps adds Venue Maps

Are you ready for some football?! Anybody heading to the University of Phoenix Stadium for the Big Game on Sunday should know that a recent Bing Maps update can help you better navigate the 63,400-seat stadium.

For the Big Game, you need a big stadium. So this recent update is a reason to cheer.

While Bing Maps has always been able to give you directions to this large venue, the updated venue map of Arizona’s University of Phoenix Stadium can now actually help you find your specific seat.

If you’re looking for directions from a browser, head to Bing.com/maps and type “University of Phoenix Stadium” into the search bar. Alternatively, click here.

On the map’s left side, you’ll find seat-section numbers (e.g. “101 Main Level,” “233 Club Level”). Once you click a section, you’ll be shown the exact location and from there, you can get directions.

A similar experience can be found on your Windows Phone using the Maps app. Within Maps, hit the search icon and type “University of Phoenix Stadium.”

Zooming in will initiate the Venue Maps feature and show you a more detailed view of the stadium’s internal arrangement, including section numbers and the different levels, such as Terrace, Suite, Loft, Club, and Main.

Once you’ve found your section, tap it to get directions from your current location. Then settle in to see which team will be the ultimate king of the gridiron.

The map update also includes nifty 2D imagery, so you can see a bird’s eye view of the playing field basking in the warm Arizona sun. For more information on the venue update, head over to the Bing Blog.
