February kicked off with a ton of new apps and updates in the Windows Phone Store that are sure to make you smile as much as we are. We’re loving the new gems that we’re discovering, as well as the updates to old favorites that keep popping up. So without further ado, let’s take a look at the 5 favorite new Windows Phone apps of the week that we’ve chosen for you.

What is it: a home screen customization app

Why we love it: Home screen personalization is a beautiful thing, and the possibilities are endless using #TileArt. Unleash your creativity and create your own custom tile layout that shows who you are and what you love in this easy-to-use new app. You can upload transparent PNG images or access the free #TileArt Gallery, customize your lock screen, and share your artistry with both your friends and the rest of the world using the #TileArt hashtag on Twitter. The Weather Channel (update)

What is it: a weather app

Why we love it: The Weather Channel’s official app has received a beautiful new redesign, with the UI now mirroring the apps for iOS and Android. Other new features include Social Weather, which lets you report your local weather, Seasonal tools such as Hurricane Central, Airport delays, and pollen counts, and improved navigation.

Who it’s perfect for: anyone looking for weather updates

What is it: a time and date app

Why we love it: Modern Clock XXIV is a cool time and date app that uses more than just numbers to keep you on time and up-to-date. It has colorful graphical indicators that display a ton of information in a visually-appealing way, such as time, date, day of the week, week number, and seconds. You can also set a background image, or remove certain graphics from the display.

TeamViewer (update)

What is it: a remote control Windows, Mac, and Linux computers

Why we love it: TeamViewer is an old favorite, and many people were upset when it disappeared from the Windows Phone Store last month. Well, now it’s back and better than ever. You can still use it for remote access to computers, with the new added bonus of a transparent tile on your start screen and a “Forgot my password” function so that you won’t get locked out. Language support has also been improved, with Arabic and Hebrew added to the already impressive list of over 30 languages.
