The fastest way to re-install apps and games on your Lumia

Have you accidentally deleted an app or game from your Lumia? Or have you recently upgraded from one Lumia to another (such as the Lumia 830) and wonder how to re-install your apps or games without paying for them again?

Traditionally, you would head to the Windows Phone Store and search for the individual apps. Thanks to the Windows Phone 8.1 update, all this can happen in fewer steps. In fact, you can reinstall all those deleted apps in a single go! 

Here’s how:

• Launch the Store tile from your Start screen.
• Tap the “… “ icon and select the my apps option.
• You will see the list of apps you have downloaded or purchased as your app history.

Depending on the number of apps you’ve downloaded, this may take a minute or two to generate.

Next, scroll down or tap an app or a game you wish to reinstall. You can also choose the select icon on the bottom of the screen to choose more than a single app or a game.

Once you’ve selected the apps or games, tap the download button at the bottom of the screen and the selected apps will start to reinstall.

Remember that the Windows Phone Store will always recognize if you’ve already bought an app or a game so that you don’t have to pay for it again.
