Revealed: Your Lumia Instagramer of the Month: Endre Gazsó
Who will be the very first Instagramer of the Month for 2015? We asked you fantastic folks to decide, and over 2000 votes are now in.
Last month we asked for your help in choosing January’s Instagramer of the Month, and your votes came pouring in from all over the world. It was a tight race, but the winner is none other than Endre Gazsó, aka gazsoendi. We think that Endre and his dream-like photos are proof that 2015 is going to have just as many creative and talented Instagramers as 2014. Read on to find out more about our first winner of the year, and be sure to take a look at his spectacular photographs.
Which Lumia do you have and what do you like most about it?
I have two Lumias, one white 1020 and a black 1320. For taking pictures I mostly use the 1020. I really like this phone as it has lot of features like a professional camera. Firstly, the long shutter speed and the adjustable ISO is really useful. Also, the RAW is a huge advantage as you can take much better pictures compared to JPG. Lastly, with 41MP you can zoom a lot. Sometimes, I’m surprised how good pictures this “little” phone can take, almost DSLR level.
Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take best?
All my photos are taken in Hungary, in my hometown, Kunfehértó. There’s a lake here. I try to capture its beauty as well as I can do. Other than my little town, I also shoot in other towns (Kiskunhalas, Szeged, Gyula). My favorite themes are capturing the sunset in various compositions and splash pictures, which is a real challenge to capture the ideal moment.
What are your top tips for taking Instagram photos on your Lumia?
Instagram is a great way to share our pictures and learn from other more experienced photographers or take inspiration from them. Accept the criticism on our pictures and correct our mistakes. Instagram is probably one of the biggest photo sharing sites, so don’t be afraid to show the world your Lumia photos! It means a lot to me and gives me self-confidence if others enjoy and like my pictures.
Which five Lumia instagramers do you recommend everyone to follow?
@detkodave Dávid Detkó – He made me love the Lumias. I learned a lot from him, he is the Hungarian Microsoft Lumia photoambassador.
@sszemtelen Roland Papp – He takes excellent macro pictures, the master of macro.
@t_patrik Patrik Tarjanyi – He takes beautiful landscape pictures, presenting things from a new perspective.
@_doublez_ Zoltán Zagyva – He presents everyday things, but in unorthodox ways.
@hgerii_ Gergő Harcz – He excels at every theme.
