In Pictures: Night at the Mercedes Benz Museum

When the doors to the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart opened the night of February 7th, in walked a group of enthusiasts eager to capture the magnificent motors on camera.

Comprising of social media photographers, automotive bloggers, and additional members from the press, some participants were armed with the Lumia 930 loaded with the Lumia Denim Update.

Our reporter on the scene for the night was Pina Kehren from our Microsoft communications team in Germany. Let’s check out some of her insider photos:

Another of the participants was Dennis Schöberl from; a site dedicated to technology:

Dennis also takes us all back to the early days of automotive transport with this beautiful shot on Instagram:

And of course the Lumia 930 is also great as a model in front of a camera, like in this shot alongside a bright red 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Special Roadster.

Zwei coole Farben! #mbmus #lumia

Driven to win?

Tons of great pictures were taken that night, be it via DSLR camera or smartphone. If you´re eager to see more, just check the Mercedes-Benz Instagram account and keep your eyes open for the hashtags #MBMus (Mercedes Benz Museum).

Additionally, check out some great examples of what @MercedesBenz is already sharing on Twitter:

There will be an Instagram Battle, starting today 2 p.m. GMT. Every day until mid March, Mercedes-Benz will post one “best shot” of one of the participants.

The photo with the most likes in a 24-hour timeframe will be the winner and the lucky photographer will win a two-night stay for two people in the five-star Hotel Dollenberg in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach, Germany, and a Lumia 930 to continue to take great photos.
