Future Factory

Future Factory is a new rogue-like action game currently in soft release, and just might be the only game of its kind. The game takes place in a factory overrun by robots and dangerous traps, with randomly generated maps, challenging boss fights, and plenty of surprises. Inspired by Karel Čapek’s sci-fi drama R.U.R., Future Factory offers dual stick action and well-done graphics. It is currently free for a limited time, so be sure to check it out if you’re looking for something different for your Lumia.

TurnOn

TurnOn is a fun and electrifying platformer game in which you need to help relight a darkened city after a blackout, using a spark of light named TurnOn. Traveling through the city (using wires, of course), you need to make sure that you don’t miss any lamps while avoiding dangerous obstacles. Hidden rooms and objects, and additional levels between the episodes add an extra challenge. TurnOn is the winner of the 2014 Imagine Cup, and developers Brainy Studios say that it was inspired by Earth Hour, when lights around the world get turned off to raise awareness about electricity conservation.

Ultraflow

Our list wouldn’t be complete without at least one game that will make you want to rage quit while continuing to come back for more, and that game is Ultraflow. In this minimalist physics-based game, you need to swipe a ball so that it bounces into a specific spot, while avoiding obstacles. You have a limited number of bounces, and there’s no score or timer — how well you do depends on how well you aim your shot. Ultraflow is free and without ads, and is a great time-killer.
