The newly updated Bodbot app will not only help you get fit, it’s also giving a free one-year premium subscription ($120 value) to Lumia and Windows Phone owners.
How’s that New Year resolution to get healthy going for you? If you still need to lose a few pounds, build strength and endurance, BodBot may be the kick in the pants you need to get off the couch.
The app is your personal trainer and nutritionist, giving you customized exercise plans based on your fitness goal, such as losing fat, gaining muscle, or a combination of the two. Bodbot also features a variety of fitness tests to evaluate your flexibility, strength, and posture to get you started on the right path.
Several features I like: The app features video demonstrations of the various exercises and the workouts incorporate timers for each exercise as well as warm-up and cool-down sessions.
And just like a real-life personal trainer, Bodbot will adjust your goal-based plan based on your progress. However, unlike a human fitness coach, the app won’t make you feel guilty if you’re not progressing as quickly as originally planned!
Bodbot’s training component works in conjunction with its nutrition part, and you’re encouraged to input your meals into the app to better track your eating habits
Now let’s get to the good part: If you live in the U.S. or UK, you can download a one-year premium subscription (otherwise known as the “Bodbot Plus Rockstar Model Superhero Champion” subscription) for free.
- Download BodBot for Windows Phone.
- Within the app, go to “Sign Up,” create a username and password and enter your email address.
- Also within BodBot, go to Settings and tap My Account.
- Go to Discount Code and enter “BodBotWP” and tap Upgrade.
- You’ll receive a message confirming the upgrade (“Get ready for all kinds of BodBot awesomeness”) as well as a confirmation email message.
That’s it–you now have a personal fitness coach and nutritionist on your Lumia! But don’t wait to sign up—this offer for a free premium subscription ends on June 30 or until supplies last.
Have you tried BodBot? We’d love to hear your thoughts about it.
