Now underway in Chicago, Illinois, Microsoft Ignite is a conference aimed at IT managers, enterprise developers, and senior decision makers to help their businesses work better—in part through Microsoft Lumia.
The May 4-8 Ignite event is all about helping businesses explore the different services or software they need to maximize productivity effectively and efficiently for every member of the workforce.
For those at Ignite, Microsoft has a Lumia booth in the expo hall where a team of experts can show how you can use Lumia in your business, keep your data secure, and deploy them effectively within the organization.
Attendees can also download the Microsoft Ignite app from the Windows Phone store, which includes a schedule, on-site guide, venue maps, and a social and news channel for the latest news from the event.
But you don’t have to be at the conference to learn why Microsoft Lumia is the no-compromise solution to help you and your business save time and help you achieve more. Here’s a quick primer:
- Lumia smartphones seamlessly integrate with key IT investments such as Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive for Business and Office 365 to help keep down costs and increase employee productivity in the office and on-the-go.
- Lumia smartphones are secure by design: automatic device encryption, Secure Boot, device lock, password policies to name a few. Devices are easily managed with MDM tools from Microsoft Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron, and other leading vendors.
- The Lumia family includes a variety of smartphones at different prices but still offer a consistent OS and user experience across the device range.
- Windows 10 will be available later this year to the vast majority of Lumia smartphones, offering businesses new productivity, security and management tools as well as more advanced integration across PCs, tablets and other devices.
If your business uses Lumia, you have a lot of productivity tools right in the palm of your hand.
Are you at Ignite? Let us know what you enjoyed the most. And if you’re not at Ignite, let us know how you use your Lumia to get stuff done.
