MLB At Bat for Windows Phone updated for 2015

The boys of summer are back and so is At Bat, Major League Baseball’s official app, newly updated for the 2015 baseball season.

While football (the American kind, with helmets) and basketball are hugely popular sports in the United States, baseball is still “America’s pastime.”

It’s hard to beat sitting in a ballpark on a cloudless summer afternoon, a hotdog in one hand and an ice-cold beer in the other, to watch your favorite team play.

So for me and tens of thousands of other baseball fans out there, the fact that MLB’s At Bat has been updated is welcome news, indeed. The number-one source for live baseball, the app is the one we turn to daily to capture news, videos and live coverage of this bat-and-ball game.

At-Bat

At Bat has two levels of access: free and subscriber. The free version includes tons of features, including breaking news, scores, team standings, schedules, player stats, and push notifications for lead changes and other game info.

The premium subscriber version ($2.99 a month/$19.99 a year) is augmented with live radio broadcasts of games (for your team and the opposing team) pitch-by-pitch tracking, and a video version of the MLB.TV Game of the Day, among other features.

And no matter which version of At Bat you have, the Live Tiles feature displays news so you’ll always be up-to-date.

Baseball fans, what do you think of the updated At Bat app? Who do you think will win the World Series this year? Let us know!
