Your Lumia Instagramer of the Month: Christopher Lete
Last month, we asked all of you to help us choose our latest Instagramer of the Month and in true Connects style you delivered.
We had well over a thousand votes with a huge percentage going for our eventual winner. Please put your hands together for your Lumia Instagramer for May, from the Philippines, the talented Christopher Lete. If you’re anything like us, you’re itching to have a look at the sort of work, which won Christopher the title. But before you do that, let’s hear more about the man himself.
So, Christopher first things first, which Lumia do you have and what do you like most about it?
I’m using Lumia 535. What I like about it, well, when it first arrived I thought I should have the first Microsoft phone so initially that’s what I liked about it. Actually at first I was just borrowing my friend’s Lumia 1020. He’s the one who introduced me to Lumia. It really captures great photos. And I waited for the 535. Although it doesn’t have the same knockout camera, it still delivers. I believe that no matter what camera you have as long as you have the skills or creativity, you’re fine. But I’m waiting and saving in case Microsoft releases its high-end camera phone.
Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take the best?
I shoot mostly anywhere in my country, the Philippines after work because I travel a lot for work and when I’m on a vacation. I’m in love with black and white pictures so almost all my photos are that and my angles or shot varies.
What are your top tips for taking Instagram photos on your Lumia?
Learn the basics, your rule of thirds, your focus and lighting. And then take pictures of things you love the most because that would be your identity.
