Today, Microsoft and Snapdeal announced the launch of the Microsoft Store on the Snapdeal site. The user-friendly layout of the online Microsoft Store offers the same products as a bricks-and-mortar Microsoft Store.
“Increasingly consumers are going online to shop for a number of things, including mobiles, tablets, laptops and software. We therefore see tremendous opportunity in delivering Microsoft products and services through our online store to these customers,” said Sharlin Thayil, group OEM director at Microsoft India.
“Our latest store on Snapdeal will help us reach more such customers and offer excellent choice, value and service that customers expect from Microsoft stores.”
Besides Lumia smartphones, Indian consumers can purchase devices such as tablets and PCs as well as Microsoft software in 5,000 Indian cities and towns serviced by the Microsoft Store on Snapdeal.
