Poll: How many smartphones do you use?

More and more people use smartphones—and many of us have more than one. How many smartphones do you own and use?

We love our gadgets. The use of cell phone is almost ubiquitous worldwide and the number of people who use smartphones continues to rise, according to numerous reports.

For example, in the United States, about two-thirds of Americans now use smartphones—that’s up from 35 percent in 2011. The UK reports a similar trend, and India is one of the fastest-growing countries in smartphone use, from five percent in 2011 to about 25 percent this year.

We bet that many of you have more than just one smartphone. While owning more than one might seem indulgent, the lower costs of these devices mean that it’s easier to have several on hand.

For example, those without home Internet service may have one smartphone on a high data tariff and tether all the household electronics to it.

We thought the best way to find out would be to open a poll. But we’re not interested in the phones lying obsolete in your desk drawer.

We’re interested in the ones you actually use. For instance, do you have both a Microsoft Lumia 640 XL as well as the trusty Lumia 520? How about the Lumia 735, the ultimate selfie phone, as well as another phone from the diverse Lumia family?

Mark one of the options in the (Straw) poll below.

Also, if you’ve got more than one, let us know what you use them for in the comments below.

We’ll count up the results in about a week’s time.
