Rule with an iron fist in March of Empires on Windows Phone

Break away from reality and ascend to the throne on your Lumia in this new online strategy game from Gameloft.

New to the Windows Phone app store, “March of Empires” allows you to forge your own legendary kingdom and rule the world.

Start by claiming your title as Highland King, Northern Czar, or Desert Sultan. Once you’ve established your empire, you will wage a constant war for territorial conquest.

Each of these three factions has its own unique strengths to aid you in battle. To win, you’ll construct buildings vital to your war effort, dispatch troops to defend your territory, and invade and conquer new regions.

Hundreds of players can play together with thousands of units appearing simultaneously on a world map. Battles are tactical; selecting the right battle formation is more effective than trying to overwhelm your opponent through sheer number alone. By outwitting your enemies, you can crush them even when their armies are larger than yours.

Alliances can offer protection and bonuses to your military and economy. The game lets you ally with other players online (at least temporarily) to take out opponents. Its built-in chat interface keeps you in contact with compatriots, helping you plot strategy.
