Inspiration can come in many forms, whether it’s the incredible actions of a hero, a powerful image that sparks an idea, or wise words like the above quote from Theodore Roosevelt. Undoubtedly, we all have certain quotes that have given us strength and inspiration in our lives, which is why we have chosen Inspiration for our latest #LumiaChallenge.
With every #LumiaChallenge, we learn a little bit more about our wonderful community — how you see the world around you, what moves you to #AchieveMore, and what inspires you. That’s exactly what this challenge is all about! We want to learn the wise words that give you inspiration to move forward in life, whether it’s a bit of advice passed down from a grandparent or a well-known quote from one of history’s greatest thinkers.
Share the power of words
Have an inspiring quote in mind? The rest is easy: take a photo with your Lumia and add the quote. Happily, there are plenty of apps in the store that can help you out with this part. Font Candy is an easy-to-use typography photo editor that lets you add captions to your images. There are tons of fonts and formats to choose from so that you can share the words that inspire you in style. Fhotoroom is another fantastic option to take your images to inspiring new levels.
If you want to try something different, you can even share your inspirational quote in a video. Get creative and use your Lumia to make a short video that includes your favorite wise words — don’t be afraid to think outside of the box!
How to get involved
Once you’ve created your entry, share it on Twitter or Instagram using both the #LumiaChallenge hashtag and @LumiaVoices. Whether you decide to share what inspires you in a photo, video, or other creative form, please be sure to include the name of the great person who spoke the words. The winner will receive an inspirational pack related to their entry.
The challenge ends 2 weeks from today, and will be judged by none other than our own Lumia imaging ambassador David Detko. David is a long time member of the community who has trialled many a device, attended events such as MWC, and shared his photography skills on the Lumia Voices Instagram account for 7 days last year. He has also created the image examples that you see in this post.
