With all votes tallied, we’re overjoyed to announce the results. Here are your top five types of games played on Lumia:
- Racing (17%)
Earning 17 percent of the vote, the most popular game genre on Lumia for Conversations readers is racing. These games tend to be fast-paced, often with multiplayer support, and boast some truly spectacular graphics.
There are plenty of choices in this category, too, such as:
GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience
- Action/Adventure (14%)
In second place is action/adventure, which is a loose genre that includes games that incorporate story and action elements.
Great choices for Windows Phone include:
Assassin’s Creed – Altair’s Chronicles HD
- Puzzle (12%)
This mobile phone staple ranks number three in our list. It’s a popular choice for players who need a short burst of gameplay coupled with intellectual stimulation.
Top picks include:
- Strategy (11%)
Using your wits and strategy to defeat other players obviously appeals to Conversations readers since you voted strategy your fourth most popular game genre on Lumia phone.
Excellent examples of the genre include:
- Other (10%)
Readers mostly wrote in their own favorite games in this category—or declared that they didn’t play games at all.
“I don’t have enough space for games!!!!” said one reader. Others championed genres like “tower defense” or interactive kids games such as “My Talking Angela“.
Positioned just behind Other in the list was the Endless Runner genre at nine percent of the vote. Examples include “Crossy Road” and “Lara Croft: Relic Run.”
