Your Lumia Instagramer of the Month: Hai Lam Khuc

Four weeks and over a thousand votes later, we can finally announce our latest Lumia Instagramer of the Month. 

So, please give a great big Lumia Voices welcome to the incredibly talented Hai Lam Khuc aka nhen99. Born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam’s second largest city, Hai’s stunning photos will make you want to jump on a plane right and visit right Vietnam right now. But before you book your ticket, let’s hear from the man himself.

Which Lumia do you have and what do you like most about it?

I’ve been enthusiastic about mobile photography a long time ago. In fact, my first photo was taken on a Nokia 7610 . Since then, Nokia has always been my first choice. Thus, I’m using both Lumia 820 and Lumia 830 as I like its color tone a lot. Ever since Lumia Camera was upgraded with Rich Capture mode, the shooting speed has been increased significantly, leaving this cellphone photographer satisfied.

Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take best?

I photograph everything I love. Most of my photos are taken in the city and country where I live. My country is blessed with much natural beauty and that’s why I love shooting macro and landscapes.

What are your top tips for taking Instagram photos on your Lumia?

I’ve always chosen iso64 or iso100 for full light and Rich Capture mode (if supported) in half-light. The most important factor is to be guided by emotions when capturing and saving moments.

Which Lumia Instagramers do you recommend everyone should follow?
