One Windows 10 experience
With Lumia 550, if you create a Word document on your Surface Pro 4, just save it on OneDrive so that you can access it on your Lumia 550 on your commute home on the train and work on it further with the built-in Office apps on your phone.
The same applies to Cortana. If you’re sitting at your laptop (such as the Surface Book) and ask Cortana to remind you to pick up something on the way home, Cortana syncs reminders across devices and will notify you on your Lumia at the right time and place.
A premium display at a glance
The Lumia 550 offers outstanding visuals on a 4.7-inch HD display.
With outdoor readability enhancements, you can create, edit or view your PowerPoint presentations or Excel spreadsheets on the go, no matter where you are, and stay connected with friends via Skype, Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp.
The Lumia 550 also includes Glance Screen that makes sure you never miss out on what is important by displaying time, date, notifications, and calendar entries without having to unlock or activate your phone.
As fast as the speed of LTE
To make sure you can access your documents online, the Lumia 550 connects using 4G LTE reaching download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and uploads of up to 50 Mbps. Additionally, Microsoft Edge is an all-new browser that’s great for on-the-go reading and more.
The new Lumia 550 comes in matte black and glossy white, and will become available globally in select markets starting today.
