Microsoft HoloLens experience showcase opens for developers at the Microsoft Flagship Store in New York

The Microsoft HoloLens team is committed to supporting developers, so they can create innovative applications, useful tools and groundbreaking experiences for HoloLens. We are energized by the response we’ve seen to the Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition, recent commercial partnership announcements, and our Microsoft HoloLens Roadshow that just wrapped last month – where all eleven cities were fully booked within the first 90 minutes.

Roadshow feedback and participation was positive across the board, so much so that we have a long list of developers still hoping to get hands-on time with the device, with hundreds waitlisted in the New York metropolitan area alone.

It’s because of this overwhelming reception that we’re eager to open the first ongoing HoloLens experience showcase for developers at the Microsoft Flagship Store in New York. Now, developers who have been wanting to try HoloLens will have the chance to experience the world’s first fully untethered holographic computer, powered by Windows 10, for themselves. If you are a developer interested in doing so, please request an appointment by visiting www.hololensevents.com.

The dedicated space at the new flagship store provides an opportunity for developers to experience HoloLens first hand and get started on creating HoloLens experiences. In New York, developers will get a taste of how HoloLens can enable new ways for people to communicate, create, work and play.

Developers: Sign-up for your chance to experience HoloLens. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, apply now for the Microsoft HoloLens Development Edition, shipping in Q1 2016. Additionally, if you have ideas for what you’d like to build for HoloLens, Share Your Idea with us. We are looking forward to continued opportunities to connect with you and will let you know as other opportunities arise.

The new holographic future starts with you, developers. Can’t wait to see you at the Microsoft Store.
