Angry Birds celebrates 4th birthday with a new game: Angry Birds Go!

Today, we celebrate Angry Birds’ 4th birthday; our young hatchlings have grown so fast. But we’re not just here to eat cake and receive birthday presents; we’ve also got a gift for you! Get your claws on our newest game, Angry Birds Go!

The birds and pigs are still at it; they’ve got a never-ending score to settle. But this time, they’ve slipped on their driving gloves and taken their fury to the racetrack in this 3D downhill racing game.

With five events on 12 different tracks, the aim of the game is to get to the bottom of the hill before anybody else. The racing events include Race, Time Boom, Fruit Splat, Versus mode and Champion Chase.

What could be more fun than defeating your friends in a race? Beating them over and over again, on a regular basis.

Angry Birds GO! features some recognisable characters from both camps.

From team piggie, you can play as Corporal Pig, Moustache and King Pig. On team bird we have Red, Chuck, The Blues, Matilda, Terence, Hal, Bomb, Bubbles and Stella.

While there are more birds than pigs it’s each critter for his or herself in this dog-eat-dog (or should that be pig-eat-bird?) racing game.

Angry Birds GO! is available now for Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Lumia 928, Lumia 925, Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 for free. And it’s coming soon for other Lumia devices running Windows Phone 8.
