Your Lumia Instagramer of the Month: Thang Nguyen
Two weeks and nearly three thousand votes later, we can finally announce our latest Lumia Instagramer of the Month.
So, please put your hands together for the incredibly talented Thang Nguyen. A resident of Hanoi, Vietnam’s second largest city Thang’s breathtaking photos of cityscapes will make you want to jump on a plane right and visit right now. But before you see for yourself, let’s hear from the man himself.
Which Lumia do you have and what do you like most about it?
Currently, I’m using a Lumia 925, a great phone. It has a very nice design and I’m very happy with what the camera brings.
Where do you shoot most of your photos and what sort of photos do you like to take the best?
I mainly shoot photos in Hanoi, Ha Long and Cam Pha where I live and usually take them at dawn, dusk and nightfall. I like to take them from high places such as condominium buildings and the mountains. You can get a great view from locations like these.
What are your top tips for taking Instagram photos on your Lumia?
I’m passionate about panorama and “Long exposure” shots, so I always carry a tripod when possible. I’m also a big fan of night photography and have even written an article about taking night photos on your Lumia. You can read it here.
Which five Lumia instagramers do you recommend everyone to follow?
Actually I know a lot of great Lumia instagramers, so it’s difficult to choose out of 5 people. But I really want to thank some people who mentioned me when they also got chosen as a Lumia Instagramer.
