Video: Talking design with E71 and E66 creators

LONDON, England – Eseries devices have undergone a serious design evolution since the introduction of the E51 and E65, a pair of phones that in essence acted as springboards for the bolder steel-clad designs embodied in the new E66 and E71 handsets unveiled earlier today.

I caught up with Valtteri Eroma (Head of Eseries design) and Benoit Rouger (Senior Industrial Designer) to talk about this design evolution, the use of materials and the challenge of creating exciting Eseries devices.

The video interview was conducted in perhaps the noisiest room on Planet Earth (I’ve tried to clean up the audio as best I can), but hang in there because the guys have some cool stuff to say about Eseries design…

What do you think about the evolution of Eseries devices and design in recent years? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
