AUSTIN, TX, United States –  Nokia Lumia owners can have SXSW at their fingertips thanks to a free app from the Windows Phone Marketplace. Anyone who has a Nokia Lumia 710 or Nokia Lumia 800 can download it there.

Called SXSW Go, it’s the perfect companion app to  keep you engaged with the conference. 

 SXSW.com allows attendees to view conference sessions, build their own schedule based on events selected for every day of the conference, as well as connect with other attendees via a specialized social network.

With SXSW Go, you can:

• Search and browse the entire schedule.
• See what’s going on around you via map view and get directions to events.
• Search to find events, venues and exhibitors via keyword search.
• See who’s here – browse the list of speakers and exhibitors.
• Engage with social networks to see what’s being shared about SXSW.

My favorite feature of SXSW Go is that it allows me to see the events that I’ve already arranged on my personal schedule via the SXSW.com schedule website.

The SXSW Go looks good, is fast and zippy and, most important of all, makes SXSW accessible via my Lumia 800.
