The Big Debate: Ringtones

Hello one and all and welcome to the Sunday Nokia Connects Big Debate! This is a topic that I feel quite strongly about as do a few of my friends, so I’m really interested in what you have to say about this one. Let the battle commence!

The Big Debate: Ringtones

This is all about whether you use the classic ringtone that comes on your phone or you customise it by choosing or downloading something for yourself.

Now, don’t get me wrong… I love the classic Nokia ringtone, it’s nostalgic and iconic. However, I like to be different and have something nobody else has, something surprising or funny… or perhaps incredibly annoying to strangers. So I usually go onto my computer and grab a siren from a Prodigy tune a few drum loops or a funny quote from a movie or cartoon, then chop it into a neat segment before throwing it onto my N9 or N8.

There are ringtone apps you can download of course, so if you’re using a Lumia you’ll be able to find something that suits you and says something about your personality, which is what I’m all about… and have done.

Now… who disagrees and uses the classic Nokia ringtone no matter what anyone else says? And who agrees with me? Let me know in the comments section or go wild on Twitter. #NokiaDebate
