Updates to the Windows Store and Windows Phone Store policies

This week we released updated app certification policies on Dev Center for Windows Phone apps and Windows Store apps and accompanying updates to the Application Developer Agreement.

This update adjusts the policies to make them more clear and easier to understand, revises the privacy policy statement and combines the Windows and Windows Phone policy documentation into a single location, easing app submission for Windows or Windows Phone.

For your convenience, we have also provided some information about some of our standards related to developer accounts and developer activity in the Store; you can find this information by visiting the Developer Code of Conduct.

Take a look at the policies, and let us know how we can make them even better. The Application Developer Agreement is also available here.
