Staples Launches Windows 7 EasyTech Offer

Today, we are partnering with Staples for a fantastic new offer for folks considering a new PC but are concerned about leaving their old files, photos, music and movies behind on their old PC – the Windows 7 EasyTech Offer. For a limited time, when you buy any new Windows 7 PC at Staples you get free PC setup, data transfer, and Microsoft online training – valued at $300!

Basically, when you buy a new Windows 7 PC from Staples, an EasyTech expert will move your data from your old PC to your new PC and make sure your new PC has all the latest updates from Windows Update, get you set up with Windows Live Essentials, set Bing as your default search provider, and make sure all the necessary accounts are set up for you (including setting up a Windows Live ID). Staples calls these “essential set-up services”. The data transfer from your old PC to your new PC of course is limited by the size of the hard drive of your new PC and includes photos, music, email, browser settings and favorites, documents, user accounts and system settings. And then you get 2 free online courses: “Windows 7 for Business Professionals” and “Office 2010 New Features”.

How do you take advantage of this offer? Simple – buy a PC from Staples in store or online. Then bring your old PC into your Staples store (if you buy online, you can find a local Staples store here) where they will move your data from your old PC to your new one. You can also talk to an EasyTech associate who will give you the low-down on the free online courses. Everything you need to know about this offer can be found here at Staples.com/windows.
