One of my dear friends spent 3 months in Haiti following the earthquake tragedy last year. She volunteered in an orphanage helping children who had lost their parents begin life anew. It was hard, tiresome, hot and dirty and yet, she saw so much hope. Today, if you ask her, Sethaley will say that it was one of the most inspiring and wonderful times of her life. Therefore, I was touched to find out about the cool work that GiveLove is doing in the country.

GiveLove is a nonprofit working to establish eco-sanitation within the nation. They see that as the most important need of the country as it has a trickle down impact on water resources, food and cholera. Windows recently partnered with them to help showcase the work they are doing on the ground at a star-studded Hollywood fundraiser. The event, led by cofounder and actress Patricia Arquette, helped to raise money to bring those much needed eco-sanitation initiatives to the forefront. We are proud to have been a part of it and hope you will consider donating to the cause, increasing awareness about the situation on the ground in Haiti and helping to spread the word.
