Last week I brought you two Halloween themes – the bright and cheerful Trick or Treat and the ghoulishly ghastly Ticket to Fear. Today’s new theme, Cobblestones and Corridors, provides desktop décor for those who prefer something atmospherically eerie.
An another topic, I am excited to report that we’ve had more than a thousand submissions to the open call for art and photography! Some of the artworks and photos we’ve received are fantastic. We will start adding new themes and wallpapers from the community within the next couple weeks, so keep on checking back on the Windows 7 themes and wallpapers pages.
Lastly, on a personal note, it has now been almost a full year since I published my first blog post. Thanks to all of you for hanging in with me for the last 12 months! I’ve had a great time providing updates on the newest additions to the gallery, reporting on Windows personalization tips and tricks, and bringing you the backstory on some of our artists and photographers. I hope in the months to come you’ll keep on reading – and keep on theming.
