Tech Tuesday Live Twitter Chat: Holiday Crafting with Your Windows 7 PC- #win7tech

Today might be Halloween but the holidays are practically tomorrow. You might think this is an unsavory warning but it’s really said with all the enthusiasm my 5’8”s can muster. I love the holidays. In fact, I’m the person who started singing Christmas carols in July. It might be a problem but I can’t help it. In fact, what I love best about the holidays are the handmade crafts and projects people give each other. I used to exclusively make pillows and baby blankets for people. Now, I’ve upgraded to movies, recipe books and cool digital albums.

Join us this week to find out what neat things you can make using your PC for the holidays. You’ll save time and money by involving your children and friends in fun community-focused crafting projects that highlight and share your entire family.  With Windows Live Movie Maker can you easily use photos and video clips to make movies that you can share during holiday parties. You can easily share your holiday pictures with cousins in other countries by uploading them to Facebook from Windows Live Photo Gallery. With Windows Live Messenger, you can share your entirely holiday festivities with family in other countries.

To participate:

1. Join us from 12-1 PT (3-4 ET) on Twitter

2. Follow the hashtag #win7tech

3. Follow @windows@kristinalibby, @brandonleblanc, @benthepcguy, @daniellaycock, and @windowsblog to make sure you get the whole picture.

Note we will only be talking about the outlined topic each week and we will not be answering questions outside those topics. Questions for this week may include: Can I add music to Windows Live Movie Maker? How do I make cool laptop cases at home? How do I share a SkyDrive album?
