Everyone I know in the United States is already starting to feel maxed out on holiday. There are tons of things to do: buy a turkey, buy presents, plan festive seasonal parties, get a New Year’s Eve plan in place, take family photos and the list goes on. So, we thought maybe there is one thing we can do this year to decrease all the things on your plate – we’ll take your family photos (if you live in the US, Canada or France) and we’ll do it while you are already on the move.
If you happen to be in any of the following US malls, we’ll take your family photo for free. So put on your best clothes, swipe on a bit of shimmer and learn about my favorite aspect of Windows Live Photo Gallery – Photo Fuse. The photos will be available at Southwest Airlines gates on December 13, but in the meantime if you’ll be in the Chicago, Los Angeles or San Francisco area, you can stop by Chicago Northbridge Mall starting November 19th, Los Angeles Century City Mall starting November 23rd, and San Francisco Center Mall starting November 25th! If you don’t live near a mall or airport location but are still interested in taking your own holiday family photos from anywhere in the world, for any occasion, I recommend trying out Photo Fuse in Photo Gallery. This great feature allows you to fix all the imperfections in a great group photo so that you can end up with everyone smiling, eyes open and happy.
To use Photo Fuse
- Select the photos you want to fuse. On the Create tab, in the Tools group, click Photo Fuse.
- Select the area of the photo you want to replaceClick the replacement photo that you like best, and then click Save.
On the left is a group photo and on the right is a Photo Fuse composite of that photo and several others.
