I’m a firm believer that you should never sacrifice beauty for function (or vice versa.) The ASUS Zenbook is both functional and beautiful and my family is in love with it.

As a work-at-home Mom of 4 very active kids, I am always on the go and I need to be able to take my work with me anywhere at a moment’s notice. The portability of the ASUS Zenbook let me do that. At only 9mm at its highest spot, the Zenbook fits easily into my purse and can go with me everywhere.

With the Instant On, I can easily pick up where I left off. While sitting in the waiting room at Taekwondo, I used the Zenbook to respond to important email and fix photos for blog posts.

From Taekwondo, the Zenbook went to the kitchen as I looked up recipes to make with the food I had in the house.

After dinner, I found the Zenbook in the family room with my son who was looking up definitions for his homework.

Here are a few stats that make the Zenbook my new favorite piece of technology.

  • .3 inches thin & 2.9 pounds light
  • Windows 7
  • 5+ hours of battery life
  • 4GB RAM
  • USB2.0 and 3.0 ports and Bluetooth 4.0
  • Bang & Olufsen ICEpower® SonicMaster Audio
  • Instant On (resume in 2 seconds)
  • 11.6” screen

With the Zenbook, there were no excuses for me not to get my work done because I could bring it anywhere. I hardly knew it was in my purse and every time I pulled it out, everyone in the room wanted to see it.

Disclosure: I was sent the ASUS Zenbook to use for 30 days in exchange for this review (and sending it back will be painful.) All opinions are 100% my own.
