What does Bill Gates think about the new Windows lineup?

With just days left until the debut of Windows 8, Surface, and Windows Phone 8, you might wonder: What does Bill Gates think?

Thanks to Steve Clayton, editor of the Next at Microsoft blog, now we know. “People will be pretty amazed about the energy Microsoft’s putting behind this new wave of products,” said Gates in an exclusive sit-down with Clayton published today. When you see them all work together, “you just sit there going, ‘Wow’.”

The Microsoft co-founder and chairman always has interesting things to say, and he doesn’t disappoint here either. Check out his thoughts on everything from natural user interfaces to the color of his new Surface RT tablet, which not surprisingly was “one of the first ones off the line.”

“The beauty of the device,” he says, “is absolutely incredible.”
