Are you in the market for a great Windows 8 notebook with a touchscreen that won’t drain your bank account? Look no further than the ASUS VivoBook X202. The past few weeks I have been spending some quality time with this little gem, and I must admit that I am very impressed.
Let me first start with my favorite part, the screen—a touchscreen to be more specific. If you haven’t yet tried using a notebook with touch, I would really encourage you to give it a go. The X202 has a screen that features multitouch capabilities. This means that apps and games from the Windows Store, and websites in Internet Explorer 10 can be a more immersive experience because the screen can respond to movements and actions of more than one finger when you touch the screen.
The more that I started to use the X202 the more I found myself using the touchscreen. I would go from typing an email on the keyboard to touching the screen to close an app. It feels incredibly natural and as if it is just the right thing to do.
The way that my PC looks is very important to me because I feel as should be a representation and extension of who I am. I want a PC that has a contemporary design, and can stand out from the crowd—and luckily for me the ASUS VivoBook X202 exceeds my criteria. It has a beautiful and slim profile so that it was easy to take with me when I was out and about. The metallic top and sides make it look very modern, and yet adds extra durability that keep everything inside the PC safe and sound.
Now, if you are a traditionalist you can get the X202 in a dark charcoal/black color—which is classic, sleek and sophisticated. But, if you are looking to really standout when you are at the coffee shop, you might want to check out the latest version of the X202 that comes in pink. This is the one that I have been able to use the past few weeks and I think that the finish is absolutely beautiful and looking at it just makes me happy.
The ASUS VivoBook X202 is currently available for purchase at the Microsoft Store (and many other retailers) starting at just $499—an amazing price point for such a quality PC. For $499 you can get a great Windows 8 experience so that you can tap, pinch, and swipe through your favorite websites and apps. An Intel Core i3 processor that helps make performance snappy while using less power. And last but not least, a wide variety of ports like USB 3.0 which can transfer data 10 times faster than USB 2.0.
I have become very attached to the ASUS X202 the past couple of weeks and it is now one that I would definitely recommend to my friends and family who are looking for a great PC at an equally attractive price point. If you want to check out the ASUS VivoBook X202 and how a notebook with touch can help you, go visit a Microsoft Store or the website for all the details.
