UCrew + HP ENVY x2 PCs + Students

The Windows UCrew student ambassador program is made up of full-time undergraduate students from a wide array of majors. UCrew ambassadors are equipped with new PCs and work 10 hours a week during their academic year leading hands-on trials of Windows and other Microsoft products for their peers. We’re excited that theUCrew program has grown to 714 ambassadors at 500 of the top universities in the US.

Our current UCrew ambassadors are armed with the new HP ENVY x2 Hybrid PCs running Windows 8. These new PCs allow students to be productive and have fun; students can use Skype to keep in touch with family, write and edit papers in Microsoft Word, take notes in class with Microsoft OneNote and share them with peers through SkyDrive.

It gives students the flexibility and power of having two devices in one, the tablet for fun and the laptop for productivity. The ENVY x2 also comes with Beats Audio and dual speakers, so students can enjoy high quality sound while listening to their new favorite album white studying. The reviews are in from the UCrew and they love their new devices. With an extended battery life of over 7 hours, students can be assured they can enjoy their device throughout the day without the worries of recharging. A truly empowering tool all around, the ENVY x2 allows students to be successful at school. This impressive PC is getting rave reviews from our UCrew ambassadors, who are thrilled with their new devices.

Here is what UCrew ambassador Sean Blasko from the University of Akron had to say about his ENVY x2:

I think it is a fantastic device! Most people are shocked when I show it to them with the keyboard attached and then disconnect them. It’s really incredible to see people’s reactions to all the features that shine through when you use Windows 8 on a mobile device. I think it is the perfect convergence of a device that meets business and personal needs packaged together with some amazing software in a light and portable design.”

Sean is currently an Undergraduate Honors Student double majoring in Computer Science and Information Systems Management at The University of Akron in Ohio.
