Don’t forget to crowd source your next PC with Windows Chip In!
At the Windows Chip In website, Windows and Office are helping students crowd source their next PC. Through September 1st, 2013, students with a valid .edu email address can crowd source funds to help them purchase a PC of their choosing from the Microsoft Store catalogue of devices. To help get them started, Windows will “chip in” the first 10% of the cost of the PC. For example, if the PC costs $700, you would get $70 from Windows. Then, when a student fully funds the cost of a PC, we will include Office 365 University at no additional charge.
Here’s how it works:

- Pick out the PC you’d like to help get funding for
- Create an account
- Ask friends and family to “chip In”
- Fund and take home a brand new Windows PC or Tablet + Office 365 University
