Today only: Save $100 on the Nokia Lumia 1020 at Amazon.com (plus $50 from Nokia for trading in your iPhone)

Telling people to act fast or buy now is a well-worn marketing cliché.

Except this time we’re serious.

At midnight Eastern today, Amazon.com kicked off a 24-hour “flash sale” on the Nokia Lumia 1020 with Windows Phone 8.  The sale comes just days after the camera buffs at DP Review concluded that the image quality from the phone’s 41-megapixel sensor was unmatched. “By nearly every metric, it takes better pictures than any other phone on the market,” editors wrote.

During the sale—which ends at 11:59 Eastern—you can snag any color of Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone for just $199, or a hundred bucks off its normal two-year contract price at AT&T. To order one, head over to Amazon’s site.

Upgrading from an iPhone? Today only, Nokia is offering an additional $50 for any iPhone submitted through its trade-up program*.

And like the saying goes: act fast.
