In the past year, I’ve been able to up my music IQ from barely functional to a bit of a trend spotter thanks in part to Arjanof ArjanWrites.com and an event put on every few months with Windows and HP called Artist#Talk. This event is focused on the intersection of music and technology and showcases up and coming artists. We’ve done these events with Flo Rida, Ellie Goulding and more. In late September, we will bring a personal favorite to the event – Icona Pop. I love them because they are Swedish (me too!), dance pop and mostly because the moment I heard “I Love It” on the radio I knew they were going to make it. Proof of my rapidly increasing music IQ.
