The Iconia W4 features a slim and lightweight design at only 0.91 pounds and only 0.42 inches thick. On the inside, the Iconia W4 comes powered using Intel’s latest Atom 1.8 GHz processor giving this little tablet fantastic performance with up to 10 hours of battery life (8 hours if you’re watching a bunch of videos).

It also comes with an IPS screen with up to 170 degree viewing angles at a 16:10 aspect ratio and 1280×800 resolution. Acer is using what they call Zero Air Gap technology that removes the air between the touch panel and LCD module. By doing this, it reduces reflection and makes readability really good even under direct sunlight. The cameras on the Iconia W4 are pretty nice cameras: a 2MP 1080P front facing camera and a 5MP rear camera with autofocus that supports 720p/1080p at 60 FPS/30 FPS. It comes with a micro-HDMI port to connect to an external display and has am micro-USB port for connecting to devices like a phone. And it also comes with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 so you can edit Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint slides right out of the box.

The Iconia W4 will be available with either 32GB or 64GB storage options and supports an additional 32GB of storage capacity via the microSD.
