Live life on the dark side in Star Wars: Tiny Death Star

1 of 5

A long time ago in an 8-bit galaxy far, far away….

Star Wars: Tiny Death Star, a humorous and addictive retro spin on the iconic franchise, arrived in the Windows and Windows Phone Stores today from LucasArts and developer NimbleBit. The game puts you in the employ of the dark side, working alongside Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader to oversee the development of its new moon-sized Death Star.

To do that, you’ll need to recruit and coax 30 types of “bitizens” such as Wookiees and Ewoks to lend a hand in building the space station’s 80 unique commercial and residential floors. And this being Star Wars, you’ll also need to keep the Rebel Alliance and its leaders Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia from foiling your plans. May the (itsy-bitsy) Force be with you.
