Grand Theft Auto companion app iFruit now available for Windows Phone



It’s been a big month for companion apps. Xbox announced a new one today, a Call of Duty companion arrived a few weeks ago.

And now Grand Theft Auto fans have one. If you’re already immersed in Grand Theft Auto V, the latest installment of the red hot franchise, you’ll want the free Grand Theft Auto: iFruit, which just landed in the Windows Phone Store today. Download it

With this companion app, you can keep up-to-date on the latest news, check out the Rockstar Games Social Club, and stay connected on Life Invader. There are also several included mini-apps. Customize your vehicle in “Los Santos Customs”order personalized plates, change paint jobs, choose window tints, wheels, hoods, spoilers, and more. In “Chop the Dog,” you’re given a virtual canine sidekick that you have to pet, feed, water, and even take out to do his duty. The companion app, like the game, is rated M for Mature.
