ASUS announces the VivoTab Note 8 at CES 2014



Today at CES, ASUS has announced a new 8-inch tablet called the VivoTab Note 8 that is designed for one-handed use and comes with a professional Wacom digitizer stylus. The Wacom stylus makes this little tablet perfect for note-taking in OneNote or being creative in apps like Fresh Paint.

The VivoTab Note 8 is super light – at only 380g – and has a slim bezel that surrounds the HD IPS display. It comes powered by the latest Intel Atom Z3740 processor, 2GB of memory, up to 64GB of solid-state storage with the ability to use up to 64GB microSD cards, and up to 8 hours of battery life. The VivoTab Note comes with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office Home and Student which includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. The Wacom digitizer features over 1,000 levels of pressure sensitivity and palm rejections for the best possible accuracy and responsiveness when using the pen.
