Samsung announces new ATIV Book 9 laptop and ATIV One 7 All-in-One

I’m late to the game on this one but these new PCs from Samsung are really cool and definitely warrant a blog post. Last week, Samsung made two PC announcements: a new ATIV Book 9 laptop and ATIV One 7 All-in-One PC.

Samsung ATIV Book 9 straight on

The all-aluminum ATIV Book 9 laptop is Samsung’s lightest Book 9 yet weighing at just 2.06 pounds. And it’s really thin at 0.46 inches. It has a stunning WQXGA (2560×1600) display that has a low-reflection coating with 350nits of brightness that bumps up to 700nits when the PC is outside, along with a one-touch (Fn9) outdoor control mode to enhance sunlight-readability. It also has amazing audio with Wolfson WM5102 UHQA lossless audio built in. It comes powered by a 5th generation Intel Core M processor and gets up to 10.5 hours of battery life! The new ATIV Book 9 will be available for pre-order beginning sometime in Q1 2015 starting at $1,199.99 (U.S.).

Samsung ATIV One 7 Curved (13)

The new 27-inch ATIV One 7 All-in-One has a brand new curved design that gives you a unique entertainment perspective as well as realistically immersive gaming experience. The Full HD (1920×1080) display has a 4000R curvature that makes the screen feel larger and provides 178-degreee wide viewing angles so you can see the screen from almost anywhere in the room. The curved display is complimented with a sleek and metallic deco frame. It’s powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of memory. It also has two dynamic 10W stereo speakers with a surround sound experience powered by Dolby Sound Effects and lossless audio transmission through APT-X technology. It even has HDMI in and out ports. The 27-inch ATIV One 7 Curved will be available for pre-order sometime in Q1 2015 for $1,299.99 (U.S.).
