Lenovo announces new devices and more at Global Tech World Conference

Today at Lenovo Tech World, the company’s first exclusive global technology event, Lenovo announced exciting new devices and products that demonstrate breakthrough concept products that will truly change the way people interact with technology.

Cortana and REACHit

During the keynote speech at Tech World, Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing announced and demonstrated the new Cortana and REACHit. Cortana is the personal digital assistant available across Windows 10 PCs, tablets and phones devices that allows users to talk or type naturally to get things done. REACHit extends the search capabilities of Cortana to non-Microsoft services. By creating a REACHit account, users can search Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, and remote PCs and tablets all in one place.

Cortana and REACHit is the story of two technologies that are even better together. Together, they help users search in a way they’ve never been able to before. Users will be able to access files on their Windows 10 devices using Cortana’s natural language search AND their voice to find files, photos, videos and more across all Lenovo Windows 10 connected tablets and PCs as well as across many personal cloud services.

Cortana and REACHit will be available as a beta when Windows 10 launches later this summer on Lenovo devices. More information can be found at: and on Lenovo’s Blog. It will be generally available for download in the fall.
