Microsoft Surface Hub available for businesses to order on July 1

The Surface team has some exciting news today! Beginning July 1, Microsoft Surface Hub will be available for businesses to order in 24 markets. Powered by Windows 10, Surface Hub is a complete, large-screen collaboration device with break-through hardware, powerful software and connected services from Microsoft. Available in both 55-inch and 84-inch models, it features advanced technology for the modern workplace and the flexibility to turn any room into a collaboration space, enabling productivity where people come together to get things done, from large conference rooms to informal huddle spaces. With Windows 10, Surface Hub provides a platform to build amazing large-screen apps for group productivity, such as the already-built-in custom Office and Skype for Business apps. Surface Hub is a fully integrated alternative to costly videoconferencing and digital whiteboard solutions, providing a complete collaboration experience at a competitive price.

The Surface Hub experience is designed around a highly responsive screen built for ink and touch. Both versions of Surface Hub are integrated with optically bonded displays capable of detecting 100 points of multitouch and up to three simultaneous pen inputs, dual 1080p front-facing video cameras, and a four-element microphone array that detects and follows voices to eliminate background noise during videoconferencing sessions. Surface Hub also features built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and a variety of ports for easy wired and wireless connectivity options, allowing devices to share content to the screen.

Surface Hub and related accessories will be available to order starting July 1 and will begin shipping worldwide in September in 24 markets including the United States, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
