Microsoft Lumia 735 available at Verizon starting on June 18th

Verizon has announced today that the Lumia 735 – the smartphone built for selfies and Skype – will be available online starting today and available in stores next month. The Lumia 735 will be available on Verizon Edge for $8 a month for 24 months; 0% APR (full retail price $192). For a limited time, if you bring your number over to Verizon, you’ll receive a $100 bill credit within 2-3 bill cycles for each new smartphone activated on Verizon Edge. The Microsoft Store is also offering the Lumia 735 for just $49. The Lumia 735 comes also with wireless charging capability right out of the box and a variety of wireless charging back covers will also be available for purchase ($24.99) – in orange, green, white, red, and cyan.

The Lumia 735 is built for selfies and Skype because of its wide angle, 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Not only does more of what’s going on behind you fit into your shots, the shots look clear and crisp too. And the Lumia 735 also has a 6.7-megapixel auto-focus, rear facing camera with ZEISS optics. It comes with a 4.7-inch AMOLED HD display with ClearBlack technology. And it’s powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and comes with 16GB of internal storage with the ability to add up to 128GB of additional storage via a microSD card. The Lumia 735 also comes XLTE-ready.

The Lumia 735 comes with Windows Phone 8.1 (Lumia Denim Update) which includes Cortana, Action Center, Word Flow, and more. It will also be upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile too when its released.
